The Music Heals Me

The music makes me write
It gives me my sight
It mutates my darkness into light

It makes me feel
It makes everything so real

It makes my heart crumble
Into tiny pieces
Until they’re pieced back together again
When the song is over

It helps me express
The things I obsess
